The BCDS is a friendly group who share a general interest in Charles Dickens, his work, life and times. There are a wide variety of activities on offer for a modest annual subscription of £15.00.
Members enjoy unlimited free entry to the Charles Dickens Museum (48 Doughty Street, London WC1N 2LF : Open Mon-Sat 10.00 to 17.00 and Sunday 11.00 to 17.00): they can also subscribe to “The Dickensian”, published three times a year, at a special rate of £15.00, and to “Mr Dick’s Kite” at £1.00 per year.

The Bristol and Clifton Dickens Society is Branch No.124 of the Dickens Fellowship - one of nearly 50 Branches of this international organisation.
Each year an International Conference is held at a major World city.
Members have free and unlimited entry to Dickens House Museum, 48 Doughty Street London WC1N 2LF. Here Dickens wrote much of Oliver Twist and Nicholas Nickleby.
Members may also subscribe to the Fellowship's Journal, The Dickensian (three issues a year) at a reduced rate.
